The white Japhet Orchid is one of the easiest of the Cattleya family of orchids to grow! It tolerates temperatures from the low 40's F up to the upper 90's F -- if you have good air circulation and a relative humidity of 40% or higher and in a shaded area -- perfect for Southern California: San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties! These plants are just as easy to grow as Cymbidium or Phalaenopsis orchids.
They also naturally bloom twice a year: in the late spring-summer and in the late fall-early winter.
